It's just the time of year for ice cream. So, after a quick trip to the local hardware/lumber conglomerate (not that evil HD place that we have boycotted, but the other one) since all of the kids were well behaved, we stopped on the way home for ice cream. Of course, even Noah enjoyed some but really it was mostly Noelle who got the most enjoyment out of her ice cream. I'm not sure I agree that eating a cone her way is the right way, but to each his own I guess.

So my mom will most likely be taking Nicolas and Noelle to her house tonight to spend the night. I am sure Noelle will be fine, but Nicolas actually told her yesterday he didn't want to go because he would miss his family. I'm sure they will be fine, but it will be strange to not have them in the house tonight. I'll miss them. Still, with the heat we are expecting today, I'm sure they would really enjoy being at the pool with my mom.
